Salt Lake to host Stand for the Family Conference

On Nov. 15, the Stand for the Family Conference is coming to Salt Lake. The event will include workshops on strengthening marriage, improving parenting skills, protecting parental rights and preserving religious freedom. The conference will also address topics of concern including pornography and same-sex attraction.

The event will include a variety of speakers including Sharon Slater, president of Family Watch International; Stephanie and Christian Nielson, plane crash survivors and advocates of motherhood and family; Alan and Suzanne Osmond, founders of the One Heart Foundation and TheFamily.com; and many more.

Workshops will run from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., with a super session and celebration from 7 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.

The event will be at the South Towne Expo Center. Tickets cost $12 at the door, $10 online at www.standforthefamilyconference.org or $5 for students.
