The No. 24 BYU women’s soccer team heads back to the road for two games this week against Gonzaga and No. 6 Portland. These two games will be the final two road games of conference play for the BYU Cougars.

The big game of the week is Saturday at Portland and is being broadcast by the West Coast Conference as the Game of the Week. Portland has only lost once this year and has been a mainstay in the national top-10 rankings. The Cougars beat Portland 2-1 last season in Provo.

Cougar senior midfielder Cloee Colohan, a transfer from Portland, will look to lead her team to a statement win on Saturday in her return to Portland.

“I’m nervous, excited, all of the above. It should be a good game,” Colohan said.

The Cougars currently sit in third in the West Coast Conference, three points behind Santa Clara and Portland. A win in Portland is needed to potentially win the conference.

The Cougars will return home to South Field Friday, Nov. 1, for their final three conference games.
