Nancy Nay, a professional calligrapher, will be teaching a calligraphy workshop at the HBLL, Thursday, Oct. 24, for National Archive Month.
Nay’s calligraphy has been exhibited by Utah Calligraphic Artists.
The workshop will highlight the recent addition of the St. John’s Bible to the Special Collections archives. Nay will discuss other rare manuscripts available in Special Collections.
Participation in the workshop is free, and attendees will be given the opportunity to learn calligraphy under Nay’s instruction.
The workshop will be held Thursday, Oct. 24, at 2p.m. in the L. Tom Perry Special Collections classroom. Interested participants must reserve a spot at the workshop in advance by contacting Cindy Brightenburg at .
