The No. 17 BYU Women’s Soccer team returns home Thursday to host the No. 19 Denver Pioneers in an important game for the Cougars.

After an exciting comeback win against Oklahoma, the Cougars dropped a close contest at Long Beach State. The Cougars will look to continue winning versus ranked opponents after beating No. 25 LSU earlier this season.

The Cougars are no stranger to fighting through and overcoming adversity. They will be counting on that fighting spirit to get back into the win column.

“This team has proven that when things get a little rough, we have the confidence to gut it out,” head coach Jennifer Rockwood said earlier this season.

The Pioneers are also looking to bounce back from a loss after losing at Nebraska, a team the Cougars beat 3-0 Aug. 31.

The game will be held at South Field at 7 p.m.
