Past sessions of the priesthood session have been broadcast live to stake centers around the world, but only the four general sessions have been available to members in their homes via internet and television on channel 21.

A press release from the Church cites the new decision as being “part of a continued effort to make general conference proceedings more accessible to members around the globe.”

Overflow seating for the priesthood session will also be available in the Salt Lake Tabernacle, where the proceedings will be broadcast live. The actual session proceedings in the Conference Center and the live broadcasts will begin at 6 p.m.
