The Provo City Library will be hosting the sixth annual community date night Friday, Sept. 20, from 7 to 8:30 p.m.

New York Times bestselling author and BYU alum Joseph Grenny will be teaching attendees a model outlined in his nationally bestselling book, “Changing Anything: The Science of Personal Success.”  The model focuses on helping people overcome harmful and unhealthy behaviors to create better habits.

“I’ll teach a proven model for helping people change the influences around them that actually govern their behavior,” Grenny said in a press release. “Just by making simple changes to your personal values, social circles and environment, you can become exponentially more successful at kicking bad habits and shaping new, healthier ones.”

Tickets for the event can be bought for $7 per person online at www.vitalsmarts.com/datenight. All proceeds will benefit the United Way of Utah County.

Each couple in attendance will receive a copy of “Changing Anything.” Grenny will be available for book signings after the event.

The date night will be held in the library’s grand ballroom. The Provo City Library is located at 550 N. University Ave., Provo.
