Provo police were investigating bomb threats at a Walgreens and a Rite-aid Wednesday afternoon.
Lieutenant Siufanua said the Provo police received phone calls from Walgreens and Rite-aid reporting bomb threats. Both pharmacies reported a man with a Middle Eastern accent demanding money or he would bomb the pharmacies.
The police immediately brought in a bomb squad, set up dogs and evacuated both pharmacies, but nothing was found.
There have been five reported bomb threats in Logan, Ogden, Layton and Pleasant Grove.
The police have not found the motives behind the threats yet.
