College students who are looking for something other than a textbook to read should look no further than the Provo City Library. The library will be holding a used book and movie sale on Sept. 12, with all proceeds going back to the library.
Thousands of books, audio-books, DVDs and VHS tapes will be sold for $1 or less.
“All books are either no longer in library circulation or donations that we don’t end up using,” said Amber Lowe, a library employee.
All interests will be represented in the sale. Hardbacks, paperbacks, nonfiction, fiction and children’s books, among others, will be available for purchase.
The sale will take place from 10 a.m. until 7 p.m. in the Library Ballroom. Cash and credit cards will be accepted.
The Provo City Library is located at 550 N. University Ave in Provo.
