For adults and seniors wishing to continue learning beyond Education Week, Utah Valley University’s Elder Quest provides an opportunity to do so.

Elder Quest provides lifelong learning for seniors over age 55. According to UVU’s Elder Quest page, “Elder Quest provides member-driven programs which convey Utah Valley University’s fundamental role of providing educational opportunities to our community.”

Throughout the school year, Elder Quest holds weekday classes, monthly luncheons, field trips, monthly special speakers and an annual seminar fundraiser. Class topics include choir, presidents of the United States, book reviews, organ lessons, Shakespeare, writing personal histories, watercolor and much more.

Elder Quest’s membership fee is $40 for the entire school year. Those interested in signing up for classes can visit www.uvu.edu/elderquest, or contact Dave at 801-319-1279.

Elder Quest will kick off its school year with a dinner on Sept. 18 at the Chillon Center in Spanish Fork. Reservations are $15 and can be made by contacting Janet at 801-765-4696.
