Juvenile Problem

March 30 Juveniles were reported throwing chairs and paper towels at each other in the Wilkinson Student Center. When officers arrived the juveniles were gone and no damage was found.

Trespassing

March 25 Individuals were found in a secured area in Miller Field by officers. They were escorted from the area.

March 29 Individuals entered a closed area on Helaman Fields. Officers escorted them from the field.

March 29 People were issued citations after illegally entering LaVell Edwards Stadium.

March 29 An unknown individual was reported in a secured area of LaVell Edwards Stadium. Upon investigation, officers determined the person had clearance.

Vehicular Theft

March 28 A person reported their vehicle stolen from Lot 41. An officer was able to locate the “stolen” vehicle in another parking lot.

Criminal Mischief

March 21 A fence around the Ellsworth Building was damaged. In order to take precautions an inventory of the area is being conducted.

March 23 A person reported items thrown down the stairwell at the Tanner Building. A custodian was notified for cleanup.

March 26 Graffiti was reported at the Ellsworth Building. An officer contacted grounds crew for cleanup.

Drug Use

March 28 Drug use was reported at Heritage Halls. Upon investigation drugs were found and a suspect was cited and arrested.

Theft

March 20 An individual reported their possession stolen from the Harris Fine Arts Center. The individual later found the possession in a different location.

March 21 A person had an item stolen at the Joseph F. Smith Building. The item is still missing, and an investigation is underway.

March 27  An unattended laptop bag was stolen from the Martin Building. An officer responded and checked the area for the thief.

March 27 A cell phone was stolen from the Martin Building when it was left unattended.

Harassment

March 20 An individual received threatening text messages at the Joseph F. Smith Building. An investigation is ongoing.

March 28 A person was harassed at the Bookstore. Officers made contact with the harasser and the harassed individual and instructed them to not contact each other.

Disorderly Conduct        

March 24 A disturbance was caused at the MTC. Officers were called, and the individual was escorted out of the area.
