For the first time since 2003, The Postal Service is going on tour across the United States and Canada. It is in celebration of their new album to be released April 9 called Give Up: Deluxe 10th Anniversary Edition. The album includes remastered versions of the original 10-track album, along with 15 additional bonus tracks. They have already released a new single to promote the album: “A Tattered Line of String.”

On March 5, the group announced on its website that more dates were added to the tour because of the high demand for tickets. The tour will now include stops in Austin, Texas; Pomona, Calif.; Kansas City, Mo.; St. Paul, Minn. and Houston, Texas. According to the website, fans were ecstatic about The Postal Service’s return: “A dozen of the shows on this tour commemorating the 10th Anniversary of Give Up have already completely sold out.”

A limited amount of pre-sale tickets will be available beginning Wednesday, March 6, at 10 a.m. on the website: www.postalservicemusic.net
