Mitt Romney had his first interview since his failed presidential run for the White House with Fox News on Sunday.

The Washington Post reported that Romney had been at his San Diego beach house since he lost the election.

Throughout the interview, Romney discussed the problems he sees that led to the sequestration. Romney also talked about what he thinks caused him to lose the White House bid; he believes he lost because he couldn’t get the black and Hispanic votes.

In the interview, Ann Romney, Mitt’s wife, blamed the media for the failed attempt to obtain the presidency:

“I look at what’s happening right now, I wish I were there,” Romney said. “It kills me not to be there, not to be in the White House doing what needs to be done.”
