The swim team hosts its final meet at home this weekend, with back-to-back meets for the women on Friday and Saturday.
On Friday, the women will compete with Oregon State, and on Saturday both the men and women swimmers and divers will compete against the University of Denver. Saturday’s meet will be senior night for the 11 seniors graduating this year.
The men’s team will honor seniors Gary Arthur, Samuel Bates, Garret Beaman and Brady Wells. The women’s team will honor seniors Kassandra Bispo, Dayna Christensen, Londyn Clawson, Alina Fong, Amanda Heninger, Melissa Manser and Taryn Toolson Lewis.
“Seniors should be rewarded for all their hard work,” head coach John Brooks said. “Four years of swimming in college is a big accomplishment.”
The senior ceremony and some fun entertainment will occur during the meet on Saturday for the swim and diving team’s devoted fans. The competition begins at 5 p.m. on Friday and 1 p.m. on Saturday at the Richards Building pool.
