It may be easy to get jealous of friends who are not in school for Spring term but on Saturday, BYUSA
The Hawaiian Staycation was planned by the BYUSA presidency, which includes the president, vice president and area specific vice-presidents.
Jessica Godfery, BYUSA executive vice president, said this event is at the end of the term to help students escape pressure from finals.
'We want people to have a good time and be able to take a break before finals come around,' Godfrey said.
The event is scheduled from 8 p.m. to 11 p.m. on Helaman Fields. To simulate an exotic Hawaiian get-away, there will be food, tikki torches, limbo, volleyball and even a luau performance before the movie.
The movie being featured is Soul Surfer, which is based on a true story about a teenage girl living in Hawaii who lost her arm in a shark attack while surfing.
The Hawaiian Staycation is free and open to all students.
