Utah Valley University will host its 60th National Day of Prayer Service at 7 p.m. in the university's Grand Ballroom.
Members of the public of all faiths are invited to attend this free event.
Linda P. Walton, Interfaith Student Association chaplain at Utah Valley University, said it is a rare opportunity to have multiple faith groups in the same room with everyone united.
'I think we hear a lot of times about the negative things that happen when we get one or two different faith groups together,' Walton said. 'In this particular case, we all get together and talk about things we have in common, like the Golden rule.'
Rabbi Benny Zippel, executive director of Chabad Lubavitch, will be the keynote speaker at the event.
