Senate candidate Dan Liljenquist recently challenged his opponent Senator Orin Hatch to a series of eight debates to take place across college campuses across Utah, including here at BYU. I hope Senator Hatch will accept this challenge. Now that Liljenquist and Hatch are facing off in a primary election battle, the people of Utah deserve a chance to vet the candidates in order to make an informed decision.
