Elder Stanley G. Ellis, a member of the Quorum of the Seventy of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, will speak Tuesday, March 13, at 11:05 a.m. in the Marriott Center for a Brigham Young University campus devotional.
It will be broadcast live on KBYU-TV (Channel 11), BYUtv, KBYU-FM (89.1), BYU-Radio and at byutv.org, as well as on campus in the Joseph Smith Building auditorium and the Varsity Theater in the Wilkinson Student Center. For rebroadcast and reprint information, visit byutv.org or speeches.byu.edu.
Elder Ellis was sustained on April 1, 2006, and is currently serving in the North America Southwest Area. He was born in Burley, Idaho, served in the Brazilian Mission of the Church and later was president of the Brazil Sao Paulo North Mission.
He graduated from Harvard University in government and received a law degree from the J. Reuben Clark Law School. He worked in law and finance and became chief executive officer of a financial consulting company.
