I am truly disgusted someone would suggest we stop supporting Israel and in the same letter (“Pleas for Palestine” 9/29), admit Israel “wouldn’t have a chance” if we did that.
If you want a Palestinian State, fine but not through genocide.
The reason the U.S. opposes the creation of one right now and opposes anything that might lead to the creation of one is the current leadership of the Palestinians wants the destruction of Israel.
On the other hand, Israel could have destroyed Palestine several times over by now if the United States hadn’t been there.
The day we break our alliance with Israel and stop supporting them is the day they wipe out any Palestinian opposition that might threaten their imminent destruction.
Our nation must defend Israel from the complete destruction its enemies have planned for it for their sake and for the Palestinians’ sake.
