9/6 A student reported unlawful use of his credit card amounting to about $200.

Suspicious Activity

9/5  A college-age male was reported to be throwing a rock at a window in Heritage Halls.

9/5 A white male of “transient” appearance, wearing a yellow jacket, was reported to be loitering around the bike racks.

Property Damage

9/5  A windshield was reported to be broken on campus. The cause of the damage is unknown.

9/5  A young male was reported to be spray painting a vehicle in lot 33. The officer was unable to find the suspect.

Thefts

8/31 – 9/5   There were eight bikes reported stolen in the last week.

9/4  A student was involved in a series of car thefts when his Honda Del Sol became the third of its make and model stolen in the valley this week.

Computer Crime

9/5 A BYU student account was hacked by an unknown suspect. Investigation is in progress.

Missing Person

A missing person report was filed when a 3-year-old boy was found lost in the Bookstore. He reunited with his mother within the hour.

Sex Offense

9/1 Campus police are on the look out for a white male in his late 20s, early 30s. He has dirty blonde shoulder-length hair and stands about 6” tall. He was said to be wearing a dirty T-shirt. Reportedly, he was hiding underneath the study carrel and was looking up the dress of a female student. Upon discovery he ran out of the library.
