Whether it’s time for returned missionaries to get out of boxy suits or grooms to find a suit for a wedding or a graduate is entering the work field, Perfectly Suited has everything someone needs for any occasion.

Garth Peay has been in the custom men’s clothing industry for nearly 10 years. Peay started Perfectly Suited, and he went with a different style of suit store.

“I wanted to do something totally different than everyone else,” Peay said. “I think the style can be very classic, very chic, and it can also be a very trendy style.”

Some of the styles Peay has brought into his store break the mold of the normal suits worn in the everyday world. He offers double-breasted suits, Kroon coats, Italian-made suits, three-piece suits and a military-style zipper suit

“We have zipper suits that can be fun,” he said.  “It’s very fashionable, it comes out of Italy, and it buttons across the front. It has a little more of a military look. Then we go to the very classic, the Italian, and we can also go to something a little more business oriented.”

Perfectly Suited offers customers not only ready to wear suits and a wide variety of ties but the opportunity for men to make custom shirts and suits with their choice of fabric, color and design to match their style. When a man goes into Perfectly Suited, he will be measured for his size, so he and the worker both know what they are looking for.

John McClure has been the manager for nearly a year and a half and believes the variety and quality is what makes Perfectly Suited stand out.

“We carry top-of-the-line Italian and British fabric,” McClure said. “No one does custom clothing around here. The custom clothing may be higher in pricing, but the off-the-rack suiting can fit almost any budget.”

The suits have variety, with colors ranging from black to blue, charcoal, light gray, brown, tan and lavender. They also provide different patterns of solids, plaids and pinstripes.

Every suit has its own unique feel for every customer, whether with a two vent in the back giving it a more tailored fit  or a one vent which gives it a modern look. Suit coats range from one to three buttons in the front.

Chelsea Oldroyd, 20, from Provo, has had several friends shop at Perfectly Suited.

“Some guys try way too hard, or they don’t try at all,” she said. “Perfectly Suited is the happy medium. All my friends look classy in their suits.”

The store is at 55 N. University Ave., Suite 110 in Provo. The store hours are Monday-Thursday from noon to 6 p.m.
