Letter: Torn toenails, banned bandaids

85

I recently started swimming for exercise at the RB pool.

I’ve had a happy experience with encouraging lifeguards who lend out goggles and nice swimmers who stay in their lane. However, I’ve had an unhappy experience with the locker-room staff.

After an intramural accident, I found myself with a toenail about ready to fall off and a large scab on my knee.

In order to save other swimmers from ingesting my scab and toenail, I kindly asked the student at the front desk in the locker room for two band-aids.

She looked at me like I had asked for her computer or something then replied,

“I was told not to give away a lot of band-aids.”

Really, BYU?
