UTA Job Fair to Kick Off Today

New job opportunities with Utah Transit Authority offers full-time hours and comprehensive benefits. Careers in bus maintenance, bus operations and facilities maintenance have opened up due to the expanded bus system in Salt Lake.

A UTA job fair Tuesday will provide the unique opportunity to apply and be interviewed on the spot at the Meadowbrook Administration building located at 3600 S. 700 West from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.

UTA spokesperson Chad Saley said medical, dental, vision, vacation and retirement benefits will be offered with the 25 operator and five to 10 maintenance positions available in Salt Lake, Utah and Weber counties.

This kick-off event begins a new recruitment advertising campaign UTA calls 'Born to Drive' which includes other radio and print ads.
