A pizza delivery driver was robbed at gunpoint Monday night near 740 W. 1600 North in Orem, said Lt. Douglas Edwards of Orem Department of Public Safety.

The Pizza Hut employee drove to the order address, but said he had difficulty finding the customer”s residence.

He told police he was then flagged down by a Polynesian man who directed the driver to a nearby cul-de-sac.

Arriving at the cul-de-sac, the driver exited his vehicle and followed the Polynesian man.

Another Polynesian man with a handgun then confronted the driver.

The suspects took the driver”s cash fund then demanded the keys to his car, Edwards said.

After the driver refused to hand over his keys, one suspect began to go through the driver”s vehicle while the other held him at gunpoint.

The suspects fled just moments later when another vehicle drove into the cul-de-sac.

The suspects have not been identified, Edwards said.

No one was injured in the incident.
