Students wondering what steps to take after graduating with honors could find the answer at this year”s Honors Symposium, themed “Flying to Success: Life after Honors.”

Thomas Kelly, executive vice president and co-founder of Jet Blue, will deliver the keynote address, after which students may attend breakout classes and a catered dinner.

“One of the purposes of this year”s symposium is for Mr. Kelly, who graduated with honors, to explain how honors prepared him for life after graduation,” said Bryce Isaacson, public relations director and student in the honors program.

As an honors student, Isaacson said he has enjoyed being in the program because he feels it has helped him to get more out of his education at BYU. He likes the smaller classes and rigorous content in his honors classes. Having never attended the symposium before, he is looking forward to it.

The symposium will be held on Tuesday at the Museum of Art from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. and is open to all students.
