Hal B. Heaton, a BYU professor of business management in the Marriott School of Management, will deliver an address titled ?What is Truth?? for today?s devotional at 11:05 a.m. in the de Jong Concert Hall.
Heaton serves as a consultant to a number of multinational organizations on issues including corporate finance, valuation and capital markets. He also serves as an expert witness in hearings and court proceedings for business-related cases.
Heaton also served on the finance faculty at the Harvard Business School and Santa Clara University.
He received a bachelor?s degree in mathematics and computer science from BYU along with an MBA from the Marriott School. He also earned a master?s degree in economics and a doctoral degree in finance from Stanford University.
After completing his MBA, Heaton worked with a Boston Consulting Group, where he dealt with strategic planning issues for major firms.
