Perhaps the author of the Friday Feb. 6 article, “Mapelton resident upset about resignation” is not familiar with maple syrup, maple trees or anything else to do with maples in general. We will give him or her that benefit. However, just some advice for the future: Double check the spelling of the main subject of the article. It will save you some deserved embarrassment. Thanks.
