6:48 a.m. – Military Flag Vigil begins.
10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. – Y-Days in Brigham Square
1:00 p.m. – Moment of silence followed by flower ceremony outside ASB.
12:30 p.m. – 1:00 p.m. – Special President Hinckley message broadcast in the WSC Terrace. (Available during class times at KBYU online.)
Provo:
Sept. 11 –
8:00 a.m. – Parade begins at Memorial Park, 800 East Center Street.
11:00 a.m. – American Red Cross 9/11 Commemorative Event at Memorial Park.
12:30 p.m. – Freedom Festival Constitution Day at Provo Library.
Salt Lake City:
Sept. 11 –
8:00 a.m., 12:00 noon & 5:15 p.m. – Memorial services at Cathedral of the Madeline. (Bells will toll at 8:28 a.m., marking fall of second tower.)
9:45 a.m. – Statewide moment of silence followed by proclamation of Patriot Day.
