Advisors hope a reader survey will make The Daily Universe a better reflection of what BYU students want to read about.

Casey Stauffer, Daily Universe advertising manager, worked in conjunction with Pulse Research, a professional market research company, to design the survey questions.

The Internet survey allows Daily Universe readers to voice their opinions about the newspaper”s current content and make suggestions for possible improvements.

Survey responses will be taken seriously, and changes will be made based on readers” comments, Stauffer said.

There are other incentives for students to participate in the survey. Three random respondents will have their Signature Card credited with $150, $100, and $50, respectively.

Students are also surveyed about their spending habits to better tailor the advertising that appears in The Daily Universe.

The survey can be accessed at pulsersearch.com/dailyuniverse

or through a link on the NewsNet Web site through the end of the semester.
