Letter to the Editor: Look past facade

    39

    Dear Editor,

Sadly the article clarifying the design of the Provo Temple only shows the lack of understanding behind the purposes of the Lord’s House.

If those that entertained the idea that the Lord inspired the architect to design a temple to look like a cake, and not for the solemn purpose of the temple, would think for a small moment what is accomplished inside the walls of that holy house they would not even speculate on “what it is designed to look like.”

I hope that those that have misconceived the purpose of the design will look on the temple with more reverence, try to find meaning in the purposes of the temple and not become distracted from the grandeur and beauty that lies within it walls.
