    Theater:

    “Cecil B. DeMille Presents”

    The acclaimed one-man show of Cecil B. DeMille, accomplished writer and producer kicks off at the Pardoe Theatre, on campus, Friday, Dec. 14 at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $9 with a student ID and $15 without and can be purchased by calling 378-4322.

    “A Christmas Carol”

    The heartwarming tale of the miserly Ebenezer Scrooge and his discovery of the true meaning of Christmas. The Hale Center Theater, 225 W. 400 N. in Orem, Friday, Dec. 14 and Saturday, Dec. 15 at 7:30 p.m.

    Tickets range between $11 and $12.50 and can be reserved by calling 226-8600.

    “The Rented Christmas”

    Successful bachelor John Dale is all alone for Christmas and cures his holiday blues by hiring a family for a couple days. The Villa Theatre, 254 S. Main St. in Springville, Friday, Dec. 14 and Saturday, Dec. 15 at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $7 for students and can be purchased by calling 489-3088.

    “A Christmas Carol”

    Watch Charles Dickens” Christmas Classic of Scrooge and his change of heart during the holidays, while eating a meal of prime rib or cashew chicken. The Little London Dinner Theater, 20 S.     “How The Grinch Saved Christmas”

    The story of the grumpy grinch who tries to destroy the Christmas festivities of the people of Whoville, and is taught the real meaning of Christmas by some of the town children. The Desert Star Playhouse, 4861 S.     “It”s a Wonderful Christmas Carol”

    The original “A Christmas Carol” story with a twist. When Scrooge fires Bob Crachett and hires George Bailey of “It”s a Wonderful Life,” George brings the spirit of Christmas into Scrooge”s heart.

    Messiah Sing-In

    Local Band Showcase

    Nine local bands including the Ed Stevens Band, Na Leo Mele, and SideDish will perform one-hour shows at the mall. The Provo Town Centre Mall food court. The show begins at noon and runs until 9 p.m. The event is free.

    Russ Kendall and friends

    The Timpanogos Singer/Songwriter Alliance will sponsor a Christmas concert with Russ Kendall, Cheric Call, Jeff Hinton, Weston Cann and Rob Honey. The Read Leaf Bookstore, 164 S.     Utah Valley Goodtime Singers

    “Joy to the World”

    “Wagon Hay Rides”
