Today, bikers flock to the Del Taco parking lot. However, these bikers have not always been so accepted at local businesses.
Prior to closing down, the Maverick gas station off of University Avenue was the home of the Del Taco crew.
After the station closed, bikers looked for other areas that could fit the criteria of their hang out. They needed a place that was well lit and attracted attention. After trying The Flower Patch and Burger King, Del Taco became their chosen location.
