The Utah Public Service Commission has scheduled another public hearing Thursday, April 5, at 5:30 p.m. about recent rate-increase requests made by Questar Gas.
The PSC had two public hearings last month, but has decided to provide Utah residents with another opportunity to make comments about possible natural gas price hikes.
Audra Sorensen, spokesperson for Questar Gas, said the follow-up hearing is being held because few customers participated in the first two hearings in early March.
“We are hoping more customers will come and be educated and provide input,” Sorensen said.
The hearing will be broadcast from the University of Utah EDNET facility. There will be several remote EDNET sites throughout the state.
The scheduled EDNET sight for Utah County is at the Orem USU Continuing Education Center at 800 W. University Drive in the LC building.
