After quickly tossing aside the Utes last week with a ‘who’s next’ mentality, the BYU swimming and diving teams quickly set their sights on their next victim, the Big West Shootout starting Friday, Nov. 3, in California.

Senior Arunas Savickas and fellow teammate Gary Tan will head up the men, while Senior Jennifer Taske, and Tamber Covington lead the women.

Both teams head to Irvine, Calif., powered up by their decisive victories against the University of Utah last week. The men shut out the Utes, winning all 13 events while the women won a dominating 8 of the thirteen.

Co-All-Americans Aaron Russell and Justin Wilcock along with Junior, Viraj Patil will represent the men in the diving competitions.

Kelli Einfeldt and Anna Tutunnikova lead the women in diving.

The Shootout runs Friday and Saturday. Numerous teams from around the country will join the Cougars at Shootout.
