Letter to the Editor: Provo leaves good impression on non-LDS

    59

    Dear Editor,

We live in Ithaca, New York. Our neighbors, a family that is not LDS, recently spent the summer in Provo the father worked at an internship. Upon their return to Ithaca, the mother told me of some of their experiences in Provo. She told me that their family lived in “approved housing” and that she watched the men and women in her complex. I suppose she assumed that these people were Mormons. Particularly, she looked to see if the women stayed the night over in the men’s apartments. She reported that the cars were always gone in the morning. What a relief to me, the listener and a “Mormon”. Thank you, students, for following “the rules.” You do not need to be on national television to make an impression across the country.
