The evening of July 9 a serious traffic accident on University Ave. left a man in critical condition.

Sgt. Gary Hodson, investigating office of Provo Police Department, said Ethan Stephenson, 20, of Texas, was driving southbound on University Ave. in a 1995 Ford van towing a construction trailer.

At 3700 N. University Ave. at approximately 9:30 p.m., Stephenson was ejected when his van collided with a 1997 Suzuki Esteen, driven by Brent Fishel, 22, of Provo, as Fishel travelling northbound attempted to make a left turn, Hodson said.
