Bruce Quick, 36, of Provo, appeared before 4th District Judge Lynn W. Davis on Tuesday.

Davis postponed the preliminary hearing until March 13 at 10 a.m., where Quick will plea guilty or not guilty to the charge of aggravated sex abuse of a child.

Davis read the charge to Quick and his attorney, Randall K. Spencer, and they requested time in order to be ready for the official plea.

The court also ordered that Quick have no contact with the child until they appeared at court in March.

Quick was booked by Provo Police on Monday.
