    Tonight, Friday and Saturday 7:30 p.m. — “Lo and Behold,” by John Patrick, will be performed at the Hale Center Theater, 225 W. 400 North in Orem. This comic haunt of a story tells the tale of a ghost, Milo, who’s faced with a difficult decision. Should he indulge in the finest meal of his life and die, or should he spend the rest of his life following a strict egg-white diet? Tickets are $7 Mondays, $8 during the week and $10 Fridays and Saturdays. Children under 11 are $7. No children under four will be admitted. For tickets call the theater at 226-8600.

    Friday and Saturday 8 p.m. — “State Fair,” by Rogers & Hammerstein, will be performed at the Scera Outdoor Theater, 699 S State in Orem. “State Fair” is a fun production about a farming family living in the 1940s. The family makes a trip to the Iowa State Fair where the father enters his prize pig in a contest. It becomes a big adventure as the son and daughter find romance. “State Fair” is full of music and dance. It opens this Friday and will run Saturdays, and Monday through Friday until June 28. All show times are 8 p.m. Tickets are $7 for adults and $3 for children. For tickets call the theater at 225-2569.

    Friday and Saturday 7:30 p.m. – “Possum City USA,” by Jody Renstrom, will be performed at the Valley Center Playhouse, 780 N 200 East in Lindon. This musical comedy is a story about a money-hungry talent scout who roams from town to town finding ‘folks’ to perform in The Grand Old Opery. When he stumbles upon Possum City, however, he is in for a surprise. These town folk change his life by convincing him that character and love are more important than money. “Possum City USA” runs Fridays, Saturdays and Mondays through June 21. All show times are 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $5 for adults and $4 for students, children and seniors. For tickets call the theater at 785-1186.

    Friday and Saturday 7:30 p.m. — “Saving Grace,” by Jack Sharkey, will be performed at the Springville Playhouse, 50 South Main Street in Springville. This dizzying comedy tells the story of one crazy evening in New York City. Tickets are $5 dollars regular admission and $4 for students. Tickets are available at the door or can be purchased in advance at the Springville library.

    Auditions

    June 26 and 29 — Open auditions will be held for upcoming performances at the Valley Center Playhouse in Lindon. Parts are available for young men and young women ages 18-30. Call the Valley Center Playhouse at 785-1186 for additional information.
