A Mapleton woman died Monday morning after a Chevrolet truck hit her while jogging.
Shauna Miles, 39, was jogging with a friend on 750 North, near Springville, when she was hit from behind. The truck was driven by a 20-year-old Springville man on his way to work.
Miles was pronounced dead shortly after being taken to Utah Valley Regional Medical Center.
The Utah County Sheriff’s Department is investigating the case.
