Enrollment for the annual Genealogy and Family History Conference is filled, according to Duane Hiatt of Continuing Education Department.

“There is a great interest in genealogy and we’re happy to help,” Hiatt said.

The Aug. 4 to Aug. 7 conference is organized by the Religious Education Department, the BYU History Department, the Family History Library and BYU Conferences and Workshops.

“We are grateful for the support of the conference,” Hiatt said.

Enrollment for the conference was limited to 500 people in order to maintain the high quality of the conference and meet the needs of the participants, according to the conference program.

Interested participants of future conferences can call 378-4853 (Continuing Education Department) to place their names on a mailing list for registration information.

Those still interested in the coming conference can also call the above number to place their names on the waiting list, although chances of people dropping out of the conference are slim, Hiatt said.
