Letter to the Editor: Free agency applies to porno

    First, I want to assure you that I am definitely against pornography, and believe in the expressing one’s disapproval of being involved with pornographic material.

    However, there’s a little thing called free agency. People cannot simply ban something because they feel it is “evil.”

    They must allow the individual to make a choice for themselves.

    The founding fathers believed in this concept when they wrote the Bill of Rights.

    They provided us with many freedoms, and I agree with their verdict.

    These movies are disgusting (no jury was needed to determine that), but Movies Buff should not be punished for that.

    The only punishment inflicted in this case was put upon those poor jurors, who had the “privilege” of watching this smut.
