Showtimes are for today only. “Suspended Life” (1984, 90 minutes) is about a young girl and an artist who form a bond amidst a war in Beirut. It’s in Arabic with English subtitles and will be shown at 3:15 and 8:25 p.m. “The Long Day Closes” (1992, 84 minutes) is a depiction of the director’s fascinating youth as he finds true happiness through his family. It’s in English and will be shown at 5 p.m. “Distant Voices, Still Lives” (1989, 85 minutes) are by the same director as “The Long Day Closes” and tell the story of a family in the ’40s dealing with an abusive father. Showtime is 6:45 p.m. Admission to all shows is free with IC card, $1 without.
