Visitors to Brigham Young University for graduation services Thursday and Friday will find plenty of available parking, according to BYU Traffic and Parking Services.

BYU has made parking available in all lots, with a few exceptions, said Denise Haney of traffic services.

Some of the larger parking lots open to guests are the lots north and east of the football stadium, the Marriott Center parking lots, the lots west of the Tanner Building and the Museum of Art parking lot after 4:30 p.m. Thursday.

The parking lot directly north of the Abraham O. Smoot Administration Building and portions of the Museum of Art lot will be closed to guests until 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.

The parking lots north and south of the Wilkinson Center, west of the David O. McKay Building, north of the Smith Family Living Center and at the Missionary Training Center will be closed Thursday and Friday to guests during graduation services. The parking lot at the Administration Building, while open Thursday evening, will also be closed Friday.

“All other parking lots will be available for graduation parking,” Haney said. “However, guests still need to stay out of the reserved and specialty parking spaces and park legally.”

Because of graduation, many offices on campus will be closing early, said traffic services. UTA buses will not stop at the Marriott Center between 2:30 and 4:30 p.m. that day.
