BYU freshman quarterback Tanner Mangum was named College Sports Madness Independent Offensive Player of the Week following a 30-13 win at home against University of Connecticut.
Mangum set the school record for freshman passing yards in a single game with his final 6-yard touchdown pass that brought his total to 365 yards.

BYU women’s volleyball defeated San Diego 3-0 tying them for first in the conference standings.
“We had a total team effort tonight,” BYU head coach Heather Olmstead said. “I love the way our team fought for this match. Our assistants did a great job to prepare them well, and the team executed the game plan.”
