The Daily Universe website welcomes comments from its readers and enjoys providing a forum for them to share their opinions.
However, the Daily Universe reserves the right to monitor comments. Comments will not be posted if they are not in accordance with The Daily Universe’s comment policy. The standards for acceptance of comments include:
1. Comments should show good taste.
2. Profanity, obscenity, sexist or racist comments are unacceptable and will be deleted.
3. Comments will not be posted if they are contrary to the mission of Brigham Young University.
In order to fulfill rule one of its comment policy, the Daily Universe will not post comments that devolve into name-calling or are sophomoric in nature. We welcome freedom of speech, however, we do refuse to provide a forum for discussion that is not civil.
