Letter: What not to wear

104

Over the summer it came to my attention that GQ Magazine ranked Provo as the 15th worst dressed city in America.

I was slightly offended.

Then Fall semester started and I could not believe the plethora of fashion faux pas prancing around campus.

I don’t claim to be a fashionista, but someone needs to set some basic guidelines.

First, don’t wear a striped shirt with plaid shorts. (I don’t care if the colors match)

Second, don’t wear a brown belt with black shoes or vice versa.

Third, beat up running shoes with khaki cargo pants is never a good idea.

Fourth, no white socks with dress pants.

Fifth, absolutely no V-neck shirts over crew neck garments!

Seriously guys, I know your moms have been dressing you all your life but some of this stuff is just common sense.

You’re all grown up and in college, now show some respect for yourselves.
