Students to walk out nationwide protesting gun violence

The walkouts were loosely planned by a branch of the Women’s March organizers. The protests will take place from 10 a.m. to 10:17 a.m. in local time, one minute for each victim of the Parkland High School shooting. Students in Utah are protesting on BYU and UVU campuses and several different high schools.

Stephen Hawking lived with the degenerative disease ALS for more than 50 years, even though doctors initially gave him only a few years to live after his diagnosis at the age of 21. Hawking was 76 years old and made major contributions to the scientific field.
