The Green Bay Packers cut former BYU quarterback Taysom Hill on Saturday as the team slimmed down to an NFL-mandated 53-man roster.
Running back Jamaal Williams made the cut as the Packers kept five running backs on the active roster.
#Packers keep five RBs total, including all three draft picks, plus 10 O-linemen.

The Packers hoped to sign Hill to their practice squad if no other NFL team claimed him off of waivers; however, the New Orleans Saints quickly claimed the former BYU QB Sunday morning. Along with Hill, the Saints now have three quarterbacks with Drew Brees and Chase Daniel.
Hoping that Taysom Hill and Michael Clark wind up on the #Packers practice squad are huge gambles. Both could be future gems.
