President Donald J. Trump is no stranger to Twitter, and early Wednesday morning one of his tweets became an internet sensation.
Trump took to Twitter at around midnight on May 31 and wrote: “Despite the constant negative press covfefe.”
His tweet stayed online for about six hours and the internet reacted, in the most internet-way possible.
The tweet was eventually deleted and Trump responded with, “Who can figure out the meaning of covfefe ??? Enjoy!”
White House press secretary Sean Spicer told reporters that “the president and a small group of people know exactly what he meant,” in regards to Trump’s tweet.
