Alcohol Offense

May 15 – An individual was reported as being intoxicated near the Harold B. Lee Library. An officer located, cited and escorted the individual from the area.

Theft

May 16 – A bicycle was reported stolen from bike racks outside the Fletcher Building. The bicycle was secured with a cable lock prior to the theft.

Orem

Vandalism

May 15 – An LDS church building was broken into and ransacked. Orem Police are following up on some leads.

Drugs

May 15 – Officers responded to a possible theft at Hobby Lobby. The suspect in question did not have any stolen property, but was in possession of heroin.

May 16 – A woman was stopped for speeding, but was found to have a warrant out for her arrest. While officers brought the woman in, she informed officers there were drugs hidden in her pants.

Assault

May 15 – Officers responded to a fight reported at a home near 700 E. 300 N. Two women had been fighting, and one tried to stab the other with a screwdriver. One woman was arrested for assault and another was arrested for aggravated assault, and a man at the scene was also arrested for drug possession and possession of a firearm by a restricted person.
