BYU football linebacker’s emergency surgery goes well after neck fracture

BYU Sophomore Colby Jorgensen fractured his neck and slipped a disc during football practice on Tuesday, August 11, according to the Daily Herald.

Jorgensen’s surgery went well and is currently on the road to recovery. According to his brother, Jorgensen has suffered worse injuries, including a ruptured spleen. Jorgensen got married a week before the injury and his new wife will be dealing with the aftermath and rehabilitation.
